Back In June of 2009, I weighed in at 298 pounds and as of Today(October 29,2010) I weigh in at 230 pounds, and that equals up to a 68 pound weight loss. I had to change a lot of bad habits to get here, and the end outcome is incredible. I have one-hundred times the energy I used to have, and a lot more self-confidence than I used to have.
I owe most of my success to cutting way back on calories, and exercising more than an hour a day. Over the past summer I mowed grass three days a week for a living, and then went to a Gym three days a week, for an hour a day, and did a lot of exercising at home as well, and I bought a set of 20 pound dumbbells and started using them for a couple of months and moved up to 30 pounds, and after I started to see results in my arms from the dumbbells, I started focusing on my abs and midsection, and I started using the Ab Rocket exercising product(which I love, it makes crunches super easy) and I recommend this to anyone wanting a six pack, and
I did some major cardio workouts at home ,I did Jumping Jacks and running in place, and I started working out to the DVD I have of Turbo Jam(this is an awesome Cardio Exercise). I also made some huge changes to my diet, I totally cut out soda, and only drink water now, and I eat at least 3 servings of fruits and vegetables daily, also I started eating only lean meats, and cut way back on breads and starches, I still want to drop about 40 pounds, and I still have a ways to go, but I am going to do it.
I hope this article can inspire others on their weight loss journey and remember to never give up on yourself, because before we can ever help others we have to help ourselves.
